Paraffin gauze is made from medical degreased gauze together with paraffin. It can lubricate the skin and protect the skin from cracks. It is widely used on clinic.
Description
Medical paraffin gauze dressing is made of 100% cotton gauze, 24-threads, sterile.
Ready-for-use tulle, impregnated with a hydrophobic neutral ointment base.
Does not stick to the wound.
Use for surface wounds and burns, for radiation injuries and leg ulcers, for dressings following skin grafts and dematolgical indcations.
1. Leno-weave cotton fabric impregnated with soft paraffin.
2. Paraffin gauze is used as a primary wound contact layer and paraffin reduces the adherence of the dressing to the surface of a granulating wound.
3 .Paraffin gauze can be used for the treatment of burns, ulcers,skin grafts and a variety of traumatic injuries.
4. Dressing should be changed regularly in accordance with physician's guidelines.

Method of Use
Open sealed pouch and remove plastic protective sheets from the paraffin gauze dressing. Place the paraffin gauze gently onto the wound and cover with an absorbent dressing.Fix in place using a plaster or bandage as appropriate.
Do not use paraffin gauze if the sealed pouch is dirty, damaged or has open seals.
